Our Nordic 32 is a well equipped vessel for cruising with excellent electronics, air conditioning and 5.5kw generator. With her 3 foot shallow draft, she is ideal for tucking into shallow coves and small intimate docks. Seren Claer features a semi-displacement hull with a hard chine for greater speed and sea keeping qualities; a fine entry bow for a quiet ride and better fuel efficiency; and a full keel protecting the rudder and running gear. She is fully capable of offshore cruising with an 800-1000 mile cruising range at 8-9 knots. Her large ship-style pilothouse with panoramic 360 degree views, direct access to the deck, and bow thruster makes handling and docking single-handed a breeze. The standard 220hp Cummins diesel engine provides a top speed of 16 knots while offering incredible efficiency at cruising speed, burning only 1.7gph. This pilot house trawler has earned a considerable reputation as a reliable coastal or bluewater cruiser. Seren Claer provides a comfortable ride with a spacious interior & exterior.

Accommodations:

The beautiful light cherry wood interior of the Nordic 32 is both spacious and functional. From the cockpit you enter the salon area where there is an L-shaped settee and custom pneumatic high-gloss dining table, which can be easily lowered to any height. There is plenty of storage behind and under the cushions. When extra guests arrive, the settee can also convert to a double berth. The galley has a large convection/microwave oven and a 2nd microwave, 2-burner electric/alcohol stove and plenty of counter-top space. There is a lot of storage for plates, glasses, pots & pans. Drawers for cooking utensils and silverware provide a home-like feel. Moving forward, you step up into the ship-style pilot house. There is enough seating for everyone on a full-width, custom leather upholstered bench. Numerous teak racks abound, custom made to have everything close at hand (binoculars, hand-held VHF, extra compass, charts, drink holders, etc.). The helm station is well equipped with charplotter, radar, SSB radio, etc. There is plenty of room for laying out paper charts or more electronics in the future. Going forward three more steps puts you in the forward cabin. A full-size head with Vacu-flush, seperate shower, large mirror and added cabinetry makes this head feel more like a home bathroom. The v-berth has an insert which converts the sleeping accomodations to a bed seemingly larger than a king. There are numerous teak shelves for books and personal effects. Drawers and hanging lockers provide plenty of storage for all your clothes. Stained glass ports in the head & v-berth add a touch of class and privacy.

Galley:
Nova Cool Refrigerator
Nova Cool Freezer
Ample drawers and cabinets
GE Convection Oven/Microwave
2-Burner electric/alcohol stove
Deep Stainless Steel sink
Abundant counter space (approx. 14 sq. ft.)
2nd Microwave (can be run off inverter)

Electronics:
Raytheon RL70 Chartplotter/Radar
Raytheon Autopilot
Raytheon Tri-Data display with Depth Sounder
Icom SSB/Ham radio
Standard Horizon VHF
Furuno GPS
Electric Bow Thruster - 4hp

AC/DC Electrical System:
Full AC/DC Electrical panel (AC/DC spares available)
12V and 110V electrical systems (AC outlets in all rooms)
Link 20 Battery Monitor
2 Solar panels (150 watts)
520 Amp Battery Bank
1800 watt Inverter
Northern Lights 5.5kw Generator (6kw peak)
2 x 30amp shore power outlets
Telephone inlet
Hella Fans (4)
16k Air Conditioning/Heat - Salon & Galley (digital automatic controls)
12k Air Conditioning/Heat - Pilot house & Berth (digital automatic controls)

Deck:
Cockpit covered in Sunbrella
Deck box with vent & drain
Cockpit table
Radar Reflector
30" railings (1.25 inch 316 SS)
Hand rails all around
Weaver Dinghy davits
Inflatable dinghy
Edsel dinghy engine crane
Outboard engine mount
Transom swim platform with swim ladder
Hot & Cold Fresh water cockpit shower
Bow protectors
Anchor windlass
35lb Bruce anchor with bow roller
High test chain (100' of 5/16”) & rode (150' of 9/16" nylon)
16 lb Fortress anchor (port)
High test chain (50’ of 5/16”) & rode (150’ of 9/16” nylon)
Sampson Post - 316 stainless steel

Mechanical.
